Description:
Electronic Device

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of automobiles, and in particular to an electronic device.

Background Art

[0002] The instrument is set in the head impact area directly in front of the driver. Although airbags and seat belts can largely prevent the driver from colliding with it, some people ignore the safety recommendations and their head hits the instrument when the vehicle collides, causing the internal components of the instrument to break into sharp points, which cause injury to the driver and passengers.

Summary of the Invention

[0003] Targeting the problems in the prior art, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an electronic device, wherein one or more energy-absorbing modules are arranged between the PCB and the rear cover in the area where the PCB deformation may cause injury to the driver and passengers, to prevent the components of the electronic device from breaking into sharp points during collision that may cause injury to the driver and passengers.

[0004] The present invention provides an electronic device, which is provided in the head impact area of a vehicle and comprises a PCB and a rear cover, wherein a region in which the distance between the PCB and the rear cover is greater than a first set value and its size is greater than or equal to a second set value is a first region, and one or more energy-absorbing modules are provided in the first region.

[0005] Further, the energy-absorbing module is a plastic injection part.

[0006] Further, the distance between a first surface of the energy-absorbing module facing the PCB and the PCB is smaller than or equal to 2 mm.

[0007] Further, the energy-absorbing module is in a skeleton structure.

[0008] Further, a reinforcing rib of the energy-absorbing module is in a triangular structure.

[0009] Further, the energy-absorbing module is fixed on the rear cover by clips and/or screws, or the energy-absorbing module is bonded to the rear cover.

[0010] Further, more energy-absorbing modules are provided when the area of the first region is larger, or the sum of the areas of the energy-absorbing modules is larger when the area of the first region is larger.

[0011] Further, the energy-absorbing modules have the same height or different heights.

[0012] Further, the electronic device is an instrument, an infotainment system, or a display device.

[0013] Compared with the prior art, the electronic device provided by the present invention has the following benefits: one or more energy-absorbing modules are arranged between the PCB and the rear cover in the area where the PCB deformation may cause injury to the driver and passengers, to prevent the components of the electronic device from breaking into sharp points during collision that may cause injury to the driver and passengers.

Brief Description of the Drawings

[0014] Figure 1 is an exploded view of the display device of one embodiment of the present invention.

[0015] Figure 2 is a schematic diagram (from the inside of the rear cover) of the energy-absorbing module of the display device shown in Figure 1 mounted on the rear cover.

[0016] Figure 3 is a perspective view of the energy-absorbing module.

[0017] Figure 4 is a schematic diagram (from the outside of the rear cover) of the energy-absorbing module of the display device shown in Figure 1 mounted on the rear cover.

Detailed Description of the Embodiments

[0018] As shown in Figure 1, the electronic device of one embodiment of the present invention, for example, a display device of an instrument or an infotainment system. It may also be an instrument or an infotainment system in other embodiments

[0019] The display device is provided in the head impact area of a vehicle, comprising a panel 1, a display screen (not shown), a frame 2, a bracket 3, a PCB 4, an energy absorption module 5 and a rear cover 6.

[0020] The region in which the distance between the PCB 4 and the rear cover 6 is greater than a first set value and its size is greater than or equal to a second set value is a first region - a region where PCB deformation may occur and cause injury to the driver and passengers. One or more energy absorbing modules 5 are provided in the first region.

[0021] In this embodiment, the first set value is, for example, 5 mm. When the distance is greater than 5 mm, the PCB 4 may have deformation that causes injury to the driver and passengers. Therefore, the energy-absorbing module 5 is needed In other embodiments, the first set value may be determined based on the thickness and the strength of the PCB 4.

[0022] The second set value is, for example, a length greater than or equal to 40 mm and a width greater than or equal to 40 mm, i.e., the length of the first region greater than or equal to 40 mm and its width greater than or equal to 40 mm, and one or more energy-absorbing modules 5 are provided in the first region.

[0023] In other embodiment, the second set value may also be an area greater than or equal to 2,000 mm 2 , i.e., the area of the first region greater than or equal to 2,000 mm 2 , and one or more energy-absorbing modules 5 are provided in the first region.

[0024] In this embodiment, one energy-absorbing module 5 is provided in the first region. A plurality of energy-absorbing modules 5 may be provided in other embodiments.

[0025] The energy-absorbing module 5 is a plastic injection part.

[0026] The distance between the first surface of the energy absorbing module 5 facing the PCB 4 and the PCB 4 is smaller than or equal to 2 mm. When deformation of the PCB 4 exceeds 2 mm, under the action of the energy-absorbing module 5, it will not continue to deform, and therefore the PCB 4 will not have the deformation that causes injury to the driver and passengers.

[0027] The energy-absorbing module 5 is in a skeleton structure, to meet the requirement for energy absorption without increasing cost and weight too much.

[0028] In this embodiment, a reinforcing rib of the energy absorbing module 5 is in a triangular structure.

[0029] The energy-absorbing module 5 is fixed on the rear cover 2 by clips 51 and/or screws 52, as shown in Figure 4. In other embodiments, the energy-absorbing module 5 may also be bonded to the rear cover 6.

[0030] When the area of the first region is larger, more energy-absorbing modules 5 are provided or the sum of their areas is larger.

[0031] The energy-absorbing modules 5 may have the same height or different heights, which may be determined based on the structure of the rear cover 6.

[0032] The present invention provides an electronic device, which is provided in the head impact area of a vehicle and comprises a PCB and a rear cover. A region in which the distance between the PCB and the rear cover is greater than a first set value is a first region. One or more energy absorbing modules are provided in the first region if the size of the first region is greater than or equal to a second set value. In the electronic device provided by the present invention, one or more energy-absorbing modules are arranged between the PCB and the rear cover in the area where the PCB deformation may cause injury to the driver and passengers, to prevent the components of the electronic device from breaking into sharp points during collision that may cause injury to the driver and passengers.

[ 0033 ] Although the present invention has been disclosed above through preferred embodiments, it is by no means limited to these. Various changes and modifications made by any of those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention shall be included in the scope of the present invention, and therefore the scope of the present invention shall be that defined by the claims.
