The present application relates to an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a housing and an electrical connector. The housing comprises a plugging hole, a mounting space, and a blocking wall located between the plugging hole and the mounting space. The electrical connector comprises an insulating body and a conductive terminal. The conductive terminal is embedded in the insulating body. The insulating body comprises a base portion and a tongue core fixed on a side surface of the base portion. The tongue core and the base portion form a step structure. The base portion is fixed in the mounting space. The tongue core penetrates through the blocking wall and extends into the plugging hole. The step structure abuts against the blocking wall. The tongue core of the electrical connector according to the present embodiment penetrates through the blocking wall and extends into the plugging hole to define a structure of the plugging hole, and acts as a metal housing, and thus, it is not needed to provide the metal housing outside the insulating body of the electrical connector, thereby facilitating reducing the thickness of the electrical connector, and achieving the lightness and thinness of the electronic device.
