Abstract:
This electronic endoscope system comprises: an irradiation means that sequentially shines a plurality of types of irradiation lights of different spectra on a subject; an image signal generation means that sequentially images the subject on which the plurality of types of irradiation lights were sequentially shone, and generates an image signal of each system of the subject on which each of the irradiation lights was shone; a storage means in which a prescribed correction value has been stored in advance; and a spectral image generation means that generates a spectral image on the basis of the image signals of at least two systems among the image signals of each system generated by the image signal generation means. When generating the spectral image on the basis of the image signals of at least two systems, the spectral image generation means corrects, on the basis of the correction value that was stored in advance in the storage means, the image signal of at least one system among the image signals of the at least two systems.
