Abstract:
Echoes produced by leakage of sound from a frame that is vibrated by a vibrating body are reduced. Electronic equipment (1) according to the invention comprises: a piezoelectric element (30); a vibrating plate (10) that is vibrated by this piezoelectric element (30); microphones (42, 43); and an equaliser (44). This vibrating plate (10) generates air-propagated sound that is propagated through the air and vibration sound that is propagated by vibration through part of a human body. When the volume of this air-propagated sound collected by the microphones (42, 43) exceeds a prescribed threshold value, the equaliser (44) executes low-band emphasis, in which the low-frequency band is emphasised over the high-frequency band of this air-propagated sound.
