Abstract:
An electronic expansion valve failure detection method and device for a multi-split air conditioner, and an air conditioner. The method comprises: obtaining a target electronic expansion valve that operates abnormally (S01); adjusting the opening degree of an auxiliary electronic expansion valve, and performing throttling control on a coolant pipeline where the target electronic expansion valve is located, wherein the auxiliary electronic expansion valve communicates with the coolant pipeline where said target electronic expansion valve is located (S02); and under the condition that the operating parameters of an indoor unit corresponding to the target electronic expansion valve are normal, determining that the target electronic expansion valve is a malfunctioning electronic expansion valve, and making a request for repair (S03).
