Abstract:
An electronic expansion valve comprises: a small hole (54a) which expands a refrigerant; a valve element (55c) which opens and closes said small hole; an elastic member (70) which impels the valve element in an aspect that closes the small hole; and a solenoid (61) that attracts the valve element in an aspect that opens the small hole. Refrigerant is expanded by opening and closing the valve element. By constituting the elastic member as a disc spring provided with a plurality of slits formed in a spiral shape at a uniform pitch around the circumference, by having the inlet pipe (58), the outlet pipe (59) and the axis of the small hole aligned in the same direction, it is possible to eliminate the need for an alignment guide, and to suppress the generation of sludge caused by sliding, enabling stable operation over the long term, and reducing restrictions on the positioning of the electronic expansion valve.
