Description:
ELECTRONIC FUEL ACTIVATOR

Field of the Invention

The invention relates to electronic fuel activator for activating of the fuel of internal combustion engines which improves its performance and reduces the harmful exhaust emissions. The device is applicable in the automotive and transportation industry.

Description of Prior Art

A device for treatment of internal combustion engine fuel is known from the state- of- the -art, which is consisting of a multi-component system, fixed in a housing, comprising pipes, electrodes, special holes, semi-permeable membrane, jets and bearings. Liquid dipoles and a polarization of the fuel are obtained by means of the high voltage electrodes, than the fuel passes through a semi-permeable membrane and returns to the tank through a special inlet and after such treatment the fuel goes to the internal combustion engine

The abovementioned device is a multi-component system comprising semipermeable membrane, jets etc. where a pre-treatment of the fuel takes place.

Summary of the invention

The object of the present invention is to create an electronic fuel activator with a simplified construction, which activates the fuel entering directly into the internal combustion engine which decreases the fuel consumption, improves the performance of the engine, increases its power and durability and significantly improves the ecological parameters of the exhausting emissions. The object of the invention is achieved by the proposed electronic fuel activator which consists of a casing with electrodes fixed in it. According to the utility model, the electronic fuel activator is mounted on the fuel pipe of the vehicle before the fuel filter of the internal combustion machine by means of nipples. An oxygen free reactor is fixed in the casing and connected to a measuring module and a processor, where the processor is connected to the low voltage source. High voltage metal electrodes /-/ and high voltage metal electrode /+/ are mounted in the oxygen free reactor for obtaining of high voltage electric field in an oxygen free environment. On the casing are mounted three LED indicators, where the first one is for low voltage 10-32V, the second is for availability of fuel and the third one is for high voltage 2- 30kV.

The advantages of the proposed electronic fuel activator are:

- Decreasing of the fuel consumption depending on the quality of the fuel whereby the lower the quality of the fuel is, the better is the results from the fuel activation;

- Increasing of the power (the efficiency) of the internal combustion engine

- especially where driving in town;

- Stable performance of the engine with low quality fuel;

- Decreasing of solid and gas exhaust emissions especially where low quality diesel fuel is used;

- Decreasing of the CO in the exhaust emissions where gas is used.

Brief description of the drawings

An embodiment of the electronic fuel activator, object of the present invention, is shown in the attached drawings for illustrating but not limiting the invention, whereby:

Figure 1 is a front view of the electronic fuel activator. Figure 2 is a longitudinal section of the electronic fuel activator. Description of the preferred embodiment

The electronic fuel activator (Fig. 1) is mounted on the fuel pipe of the vehicle before the fuel filter of the internal combustion engine and comprises of a casing 1 with nipples 2 for connecting to the fuel pipe and cables 3 for connection to the electrical system of the vehicle. Indicators 4, 5 and 6 are fixed to the casing, where indicator 4 is a LED indicator for low voltage 10- 32V, indicator 5 is a LED indicator for availability of fuel and indicator 6 is a LED indicator for high voltage 2-30kV.

In the casing 1 of the electronic fuel activator (Fig. 2) is mounted an oxygen free reactor 7, connected to the measuring module 8 and processor 9. The processor 9 is connected to the low voltage source 10. in the oxygen free reactor 7 are fixed high voltage metal electrodes /-/ 11 and high voltage metal electrode /+/ 12 for obtaining a high voltage electric field in oxygen free environment.

The measuring module 8, comprising sensors for the fuel type, the fuel temperature, the quality of the fuel and the fuel debit, monitors and measures all above parameters and obtains supplying of the optimal voltage value for a specific fuel with the optimal consumption of energy.

Mode of operation

The electronic fuel activator, mounted on the fuel pipe before the fuel filter, is powered by the battery of the vehicle. The fuel passes between the metal electrodes 11 and 12 in the reactor 7 where it is exposed to the influence of the high voltage electric field in the oxygen free environment. The influence of the high voltage electric field increases the energy of the fuel molecules which contributes to the faster burning in the cylinders of the internal combustion engine. The measuring module 8, through its sensors, ensures supplying of the optimal voltage for a specific fuel with the optimal consumption of electric current. The elements found in the fuel, which are suppressing the combustion process and constitute a big part of the harmful exhaust emissions, are congregating in bigger molecules and are being retained by the fuel filter.

By means of spectral analysis was found, that after the fuel passes through the high voltage electric field, new lines can be observed in the spectrogram, which correspond to the carbonyi compounds of benzene. New lines which correspond to the presence of hydroxide radicals (OH) also appeared in the spectrogram. The high voltage treatment of the diesel fuel causes congregation of the sulfur contained particles to the size larger than 5 μπι, which allows the sulfur particles to be retained in the fuel filter. This leads to significant decrease of the of the sulfur oxides in the exhaust emissions.

The electronic fuel activator is resistant to electromagnetic, climate and vibration influence. In the base of the casing are envisaged mounting holes for rigid fixing in the engine compartment. The LED indicators fixed on the casing are giving information for the functioning of the device.
