Abstract:
The invention relates to an electronic handheld device (1) comprising a housing which has at least one housing element (2), comprising an electronics arrangement (3, 4) and comprising a battery compartment (5), which is arranged in the housing element (2), for accommodating a flat battery, wherein the battery compartment (5) terminates with an insert opening (7) of the battery compartment (5) at an access surface (9) of the housing element (2), wherein a circumferential sealing groove (8, 8', 8'') is formed on the housing element (2), wherein the insert opening (7) is closed by a sealing hood (10, 11) which is arranged on a restraint element (13), wherein the sealing hood (10) has an elastically deformable raised sealing portion (12, 26).
