Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electronic holographic display device capable of displaying a lossless 3D-reconstructed image without loss of parallax in the vertical direction when the image size of a 3D-reconstructed image is enlarged using a plurality of spatial light-modulating elements. [Solution] An electronic holographic display device (1) is provided with: an optical illumination means (10); a plurality of polarization beam splitters (20); a plurality of spatial light-modulating elements (30) arrayed at predetermined intervals and used for modulating light vertically incident from the polarization beam splitters (20); an optical enlargement system (40); and an optical reduction system (50), the electronic holographic display device (1) being characterized in that the optical enlargement system (40) is provided with a first lens array (41) and a second lens array (42), the optical reduction system (50) is provided with a third lens (51) and a fourth lens (52), the interval (a) between the spatial light-modulating elements (30) and the first lens array (41) is a = (k + 2) f0/(k + 1), where k is the ratio of the interval between the spatial light-modulating elements (30) with respect to the size of the spatial light-modulating elements (30), and f0 is the focal distance of the first lens.
