Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic identification toll collection system compatible with ETC highway toll collection. The electronic identification toll collection system comprises: an ETC highway lane toll collection system, a recognition system for the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle, an edge controller, and an authentication center for the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle, wherein the ETC highway lane toll collection system comprises an ETC OBU, an ETC antenna, an ETC controller and an ETC lane toll collection system; the recognition system for the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle comprises a reader-writer for the electronic registration identification (RFID) of the motor vehicle, an antenna for the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle, and the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle; and the edge controller is used for secure access to the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle and the ETC lane toll collection system, read-write control of the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle, and decryption and reading of the electronic registration identification of the motor vehicle. The electronic identification toll collection system compatible with ETC highway toll collection may be compatible with ETC highway toll collection, such that smooth toll collection can also be carried out on vehicles that use ETC but do not have a system installed thereon.
