Abstract:
Provided is an electronic key system capable of improving security against vehicle theft. A smart ECU (1) takes in encryption information from an electronic key (50). When all encryption information stored in a memory (11a) and a memory (33c) of a connector (3) with built-in electronic components and encryption information transmitted from the electronic key (50) match, the smart ECU (1) releases security and permits the operations of a door lock drive device (61), a steering lock drive device (62), and an engine control device (63).
