Abstract:
This electronic key system comprises: a first wireless communication control unit (121) that transmits a collation signal by a first wireless communication in order to confirm the presence of first and second portable devices (301, 302) used as an electronic key for a vehicle; a second wireless communication control unit (210) that, triggered by the transmission/reception of the collation signal, regularly transmits/receives a wireless signal by a second wireless communication to/from the first and second portable devices; and an integration control unit (111). If, during execution of a first transmission/reception by the second wireless communication triggered by the reception of a collation signal by the first portable device, a collation signal for confirming the presence of the second portable device is to be transmitted, the integration control unit adjusts the timing of transmission of the collation signal for confirming the presence of the second portable device, such that there is no overlap between the timing of the first transmission/reception and the timing of a second transmission/reception by the second wireless communication triggered by the reception of the collation signal by the second portable device.
