Abstract:
An electronic mirror control device that comprises: an imaging unit that is installed on a vehicle and that captures background images that include a rear surface of the traveling vehicle; a display unit that displays the background images captured by the imaging unit; a computation unit that calculates the position of a vanishing point from the background images; an extraction unit that extracts a rear surface region that is the region of the background images in which the rear surface of the vehicle is displayed; and a display control unit that displays a vanishing point line in the rear surface region. The vanishing point line coincides with a straight line that passes through the vanishing point.
