Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to increase visibility. An electronic mirror system (10) displays the situation in the periphery of a mobile body (100) through a moving image by continuously displaying images showing the situation in the periphery of the mobile body (100). The electronic mirror system (10) is provided with: an image display unit (20); and an optical system (30). The image display unit (20) displays, on a display surface (221), an image based on image data acquired from an imaging unit (40), which continuously photographs the periphery of the mobile body (100), every time the image data is acquired from the imaging unit (40) . The optical system (30) causes a user (200) having a visual point set on an eye-box (210) to visually recognize a virtual image based on the image displayed on the display surface (221) by converging the image displayed on the display surface (221) in the eye-box (210). The display surface (221) is disposed in the state of being inclined with respect to an optical path (L1) connecting the display surface (221) and the optical system (30).
