Abstract:
An electronic optical instrument (100) comprises a main body (10) and a supplementary illumination system (20). The supplementary illumination system (20) comprises an illumination source (21), at least one sensor (22), and a control module (23). The illumination source (21) is electrically connected to the control module (23). The at least one sensor (22) measures a distance between a preset object and a reference component at the electronic optical instrument (100), and transmits, to the control module (23), measurement information comprising distance information. The sensor (22) is in electrical connection and/or wireless communication connection with the control module (23). The control module (23) receives the measurement information, and turns on or off the illumination source (21) according to the measurement information. When the electronic optical instrument (100) is in use, the illumination source (21) of the supplementary illumination system (20) can be intelligently turned on or off according to the measurement information of the sensor (22).
