An electronic sea chart device mounted in a ship and connectable to a server device, wherein the electronic sea chart device is provided with: an electronic sea chart display unit for displaying an electronic sea chart and the position and course of the ship, as well as providing a user with an electronic sea chart function pertaining to the display of an electronic sea chart and the course of the ship; an authentication request unit for requesting authentication of the user, by the server device, based on identification information uniquely indicating the user and authentication information that corresponds to the identification information; an acquisition unit for acquiring the history of operation, as operation history information, on the electronic sea chart function by the user whose authentication is approved by the server device; a management unit for managing the identification information and the operation history information in association; and a transmission unit for transmitting the identification information and the operation history information associated with the identification information to the server device.
