Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electronic signature authentication system on the basis of biometric information which can further improve the stability and reliability with respect to the electronic signature by generating electronic signature information for authentication of an electronic document on the basis of the user's own biometric information and an electronic signature authentication method thereof, and the electronic signature authentication system according to the present invention comprises an authentication server, a user device, and an electronic document providing device and thus can provide verification with respect to identification of an electronic document provider between the electronic document provider, a signatory signing the electronic document, a third party using the signed electronic document, guaranteeing integrity of the electronic document, non-repudiation of the signatory, whether or not the electronic document signed by the signatory and the electronic document provided by the electronic document provider are the same, prevention of forgery and falsification by the electronic document provider, and the like.
