Abstract:

There is provided an electronic stabilizer capable of adjusting light for an electrodeless discharge lamp including an inverter circuit, a resonance circuit, an induction coil, and a start circuit. The start circuit has a variable time constant and sweeps the drive frequency of the inverter circuit with a start of a restart constant so that voltage applied to the coil is increased from a voltage lower than the start voltage and the restart voltage for starting and restarting the lamp to a voltage higher than the start voltage and the restart voltage. The start time constant during the start period for starting the lamp is greater than the restart time constant during the restart period for restarting the lamp.
