Abstract:
An electronic tag-based indoor guidance system for the blind, comprising: a plurality of guiding route markers (20), used for guiding a navigation vehicle (10) to travel to a destination along the guiding route markers (20); electronic tags (30), used for storing position information and direction information of the guiding route markers (20); and the navigation vehicle (10), used for travelling according to indication information input by a user, and used during the travel process for reading the position information and the direction information of the guiding route markers (20) stored in the electronic tags (30), recognizing route information of the guiding route markers (20), and travelling to the destination according to the route information, the position information and the direction information. Also disclosed is a method for indoor guidance for the blind, based on electronic tags. The present system and method for guidance for the blind can be used conveniently by blind persons indoors, while being easy to realize and low in cost.
