Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic thermometer which implements display that is easier to see by users without reducing the convenience when the body temperature is measured. Specifically disclosed is an electronic thermometer provided with a light-emitting unit (252) which is provided with a plurality of arranged LEDs (252A), a shake detection unit (230), and a display control unit (244) which controls the light emission of the LEDs (252A). The display control unit (244) is provided with a means for generating a light emission dot pattern on the basis of a measured body temperature, a means for calculating the light emission time per one dot row of the LED, the light emission time being calculated on the basis of the result of detection by the shake detection unit (230), and a means for acquiring the shake speed calculated on the basis of the result of the detection by the shake detection unit (230), and controls the light emission of the LEDs (252A) according to the generated light emission dot pattern, the calculated light emission time per one dot row, and the light emission amount corresponding to the calculated shake speed.
