Abstract:

　Provided is an electronic timepiece with a solar cell, in which the outer aesthetic appearance is satisfied at a low cost without a decoration being applied on a facing ring, and in which sufficient power for driving the timepiece can be generated. An electronic timepiece (1) with a solar cell, having a dial plate (5), a light-transmissive facing ring (7) arranged so as to surround a center part of the dial plate (5), and a solar cell (11) arranged on the outside of an outer side surface (7c) of the facing ring (7) so as to face the outer side surface (7c), wherein an inclined surface is formed on at least a part of a portion of the outer side surface (7c) of the facing ring (7) facing the solar cell (11), the inclined surface is shaped so as to incline further towards the center part side of the dial plate (5) with increasing height of the facing ring (7) from the dial plate (5), and a differently colored member (12) having a different color from that of a light-receiving surface of the solar cell (11) is provided so as to face a lower surface (7b) of a bottom part of the facing ring (7).
