Abstract:
An electronically controlled belt tensioning device for a vehicle, provided with a sliding frame (3) fixed onto an automotive chassis. A transverse sliding hole (31) is formed in the sliding frame (3); a linear driving module (6) and an elastic module (4) are mounted in the transverse sliding hole (31); a pressure sensor (7) is clamped at the contact position between the elastic module (4) and a mounting shaft (5). The pressure sensor (7) is electrically connected to a controller; the controller controls, according to a received signal of the pressure sensor (7), an extendable/retractable end of the linear driving module (6) to extend or retract, so that the elastic module (4) contracts or extends by a corresponding length. When pressure detected by the pressure sensor (7) is reduced, it is indicated that a flexible belt (2) is loose, and in this regard, the extendable/retractable end of the linear driving module (6) extends to enable the elastic module (4) to contract by a set length so as to increase the pressure on the mounting shaft (5) and gears (1); the gears (1) are pushed so that the distance between the two gears (1) is increased, and the flexible belt (2) is stretched and tensioned, thereby achieving automatic tensioning of the flexible belt (2), and achieving quantitative control of the degree of tensioning.
