Abstract:
Electronically controlled device for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of dentures, by which the cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture is achieved, characterized by the simple operations of mounting on the upper and lower denture a component that injects and aspirates the mouth wash and electronically programming of the operations of the solution provision device, so that the programmed operations for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture are performed automatically and successively, with efficiency, saving in time and means and mouth washes used, conveniently and under temperature conditions optimal for their efficiency. The device consists of: A) a device for provision and aspiration of a mouth wash which consists of a screen (1), a keyboard (2), a processor (3), a water-provision tube (4), a water heater (5), a temperature controller (6), a heated-water supply tube (7), vessels for mouth washes (8) with their pumps (9), a pressure mechanism (10) and the aspiration mechanism (13). B) A component made of a soft material in the shape of the denture, which has internally rotatable nozzles (15) and a tube for provision (11) and aspiration (12) of the mouth wash.

CLAIMS

1. Electronically controlled device for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture, which consists of:

A) an electronically-controlled device for provision and aspiration of a mouth wash, consisting of an electronic unit for the adjustment and control of the operations of the device, which consists of a screen (1), a keyboard (2) and an electronic processor (3), a water provision tube (4), a water heater (5) with controlled and adjustable water temperature and a temperature controller (6), a warm-water supply tube (7), vessels for the mouth washes (8), pumps for the mouth washes (9) which control and adjust the density of the mouth washes, a pressure machine (10) with controlled and adjustable mouth wash pressure, a pump (13) for aspirating the used mouth wash, two tubes with fittings for provision of the mouth wash (11) and aspiration of the used mouth wash (12), a drainage tube (14), wherein the water heater (5), the temperature controller of the water heater (6), the mouth-wash pumps (9), the pressure machine (10) and the mouth-wash aspirating pump (13) are connected with the electronic unit by which their operation is controlled and adjusted-

B) a component, made of a soft material having a shape corresponding to that of the upper and lower denture, and which is mounted on the denture, and by which the mouth wash is injected on and aspirated from the dentures, and contains rotatable nozzles (15) connected with the tube for provision of the mouth wash (11) with fitting and the tube for aspiration of the used mouth wash (12), the nozzles (15) being each opposite each tooth, so that when the component is inserted in the oral cavity, these are opposite the inner and outer side of the denture, wherein the electronically controlled device for provision and aspiration of the mouth wash is connected with the component by which the mouth wash is injected and aspirated, by two tubes for provision of the mouth wash (11) and aspiration of the mouth wash (12) with fittings, which are incorporated in device for provision and aspiration of mouth wash.

Description:

Electronically-controlled device for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of dentures

The invention relates to a combination device for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture, which is electronically controlled and consists of a device providing and aspirating a mouth wash, and a component by which the mouth wash is injected.

The cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture is a daily necessity and practice of the mouth hygiene and aesthetics. By using the electronically-controlled device for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture, the precise, effective and time-saving execution of the above operations is achieved.

Various methods and techniques for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture are known, which comprise the successive use of various independent mechanical means with formulations and solutions that are sequentially applied in the oral cavity with mechanical motions by the user.

Disadvantage of these methods and techniques, which use individual mechanical means for each individual denture cleaning and treatment operation is the partial effectiveness in the quality of the obtained result, the non-accurate and non- predefinable quantity of the mouth washes and the inability to control the temperature of the necessary quantity of water, which is directly related with the effectiveness of the produced operation and the tolerance of the user to the mouth washes. Also, the denture-cleaning, disinfection and treatment procedure is time-consuming and laborious and therefore inconvenient on a daily base. According to the present invention, the cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture is achieved by a combination device consisting of: an electronically-controlled device providing and aspirating mouth washes, which consists of an electronic unit consisting of a screen, a keyboard and a processor, a water heater with controlled and adjustable water temperature and a temperature controller, vessels for the mouth washes, pumps for the mouth washes which control and adjust the density thereof, a pressure machine with controlled and adjustable mouth wash pressure, a pump for aspirating the used mouth wash, a water provision tube, a double-flow tube with fittings for providing the mouth wash and aspiration of the used mouth wash, and a drainage tube, wherein the water heater, the

temperature controller of the water heater, the mouth-wash pumps, the pressure machine and the mouth-wash aspirating pump are connected with the electronic unit by which their operation is controlled and adjusted- a component by which the mouth wash is injected and aspirated, which is mounted on the upper and lower denture and consists of a soft material having a shape corresponding to that of the upper and lower denture, and contains rotatable nozzles connected with the mouth-wash feed, one nozzle being opposite each tooth, and which are arranged so that when the component is positioned in the oral cavity, these are opposite the inner and outer side of the denture. The electronically controlled and adjustable device for cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture, according to the present invention, presents many advantages.

By simply mounting on the upper and lower denture the component, by which the mouth wash is injected and aspirated, and electronically programming the operations of the solution provision device, the programmed operations of cleaning, disinfection and treatment of the denture are performed automatically and successively, with efficiency, saving in time and means and mouth washes used, conveniently and under temperature conditions optimal of their effectiveness.

The device can be used on a daily basis and successively by various users, since each user can input and change his personal adjustments in the device according to the desired operation on the denture.

Also, the component by which the mouth wash coming from the solution provision device is injected and aspirated, is individual and can be connected and disconnected easily by the fitting of the double flow tube of the mouth- wash provision device.

The invention is described below and can be fully understood by the following detailed description in relation with the accompanying figures, in which:

Figure 1 shows a schematic plan view of an electronically controlled device for provision and aspiration of a mouth wash. Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a component by which, after mounting on the upper and lower denture, the mouth wash is injected and aspirated.

For the simplification, identical reference numbers are used of the description of common parts in the figures.

In figure 1, a schematic plan view of an electronically controlled device for provision and aspiration of a mouth wash is shown.

It comprises an electronic unit for the adjustment and control of the operations of the device, which consists of a screen (1), a keyboard (2) and a processor (3), a water heater (5) with controlled and adjustable water temperature and a temperature controller (6), a water provision tube (4) connected to the water heater (5), vessels for the mouth washes (8), pumps for the mouth washes (9) which control and adjust the density thereof, a pressure machine (10) with controlled and adjustable mouth wash pressure, a pump (13) for aspirating the used mouth wash, a double-flow tube with fittings for providing the mouth wash (11) and aspiration of the used mouth wash

(12), a drainage tube (14), and a tube for the water flow from the water heater (5) to the mouth- wash pumps (9) and from these to the pressure machine (10).

The water heater (5), the temperature controller of the water heater (6), the mouth- wash pumps (9), the pressure machine (10) and the mouth- wash aspirating pump (13) are connected with the electronic unit by which their operation is controlled and adjusted- Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a component by which, after mounting on the upper and lower denture, the mouth wash is injected and aspirated, the mouth wash coming from the mouth-wash provision device of figure I 5 in order to achieve one, several or all the operations of cleaning, disinfection and treatment of denture.

It consists of a soft material having a shape corresponding to that of the upper and lower denture, and contains rotatable nozzles (15) connected with the double flow tube with fittings for provision of the mouth wash (11) and aspiration of the used mouth wash, one nozzle being opposite each tooth, which are arranged so that when the component is positioned in the oral cavity, these are opposite the inner and outer side of the denture.

The electronically controlled device for provision and aspiration of the mouth wash of figure 1 is connected with the component of figure 2, by which the mouth wash is injected and aspirated, by a double flow tube with fittings, which is incorporated in the device for provision and aspiration of mouth wash.
