Abstract:
An electroosmotic pump according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a membrane allowing the movement of a fluid; and first and second electrodes respectively provided on both sides of the membrane, wherein the first and second electrodes are electrodes made of a non-porous substrate material and an electrode material coated thereon, and have at least one fluid passage formed therein, and wherein the fluid moves through the fluid passage by means of an electrochemical reaction between the first and second electrodes.
