Abstract:
When an image-forming request is made, a value of a counter for counting the number
of image-writing times from a previous refreshing operation, the latest refreshing
time, time when the latest image-forming operation is carried out, and a temperature
are acquired in steps (S101), (S102), (103) and (S104), respectively. A timing
value is calculated in a step (S105) by using these values and each coefficient
stored in a weight table in the step (100). When a calculated timing value is over
a threshold value in a step (S106: YES), a refreshing operation is carried out
in a step (S107) and an image-forming operation is performed in a step (S111) after
the counter is reset in a step (S108). When the calculated timing value is not over
the threshold value in a step (S106: NO), the refreshing operation is merely carried
out in the step (S111). Further, the value of the counter is added by 1 in a step (S112).
Thus, an electrophoresis image-display device can be provided to execute the
refreshing operation at appropriate time.
