Title:
ELECTROPHORETIC CHIP, ELECTROPHORETIC DEVICE, AND ELECTROPHORETIC SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/046485
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An electrophoretic panel (10) causes a dielectric substance to migrate dielectrically by applying an electric field generated by an AC voltage, to a sample containing the dielectric substance. The electrophoretic panel (10) is equipped with migration lanes (3) for causing the dielectric substance to migrate dielectrically, and a migration electrode array (6), which includes a plurality of migration electrodes (6a) intersecting with the migration lanes (3) and which causes the dielectric substance to migrate dielectrically by applying the AC voltage so as to apply the electric field to the sample injected into the migration lanes (3). These migration lanes (3) are transparent at their faces confronting the migration electrode array (6) at least partially of the areas, in which the migration lanes (3) and the migration electrode array (6) are superposed. In the migration electrode array (6), moreover, the migration electrodes (6a) are made of transparent electrodes at least partially of the migration electrodes (6a) at their portions superposed on the transparent areas of the migration lanes (3).
