Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of electrophoretic particles, and in particular to an electrophoretic particle and a preparation method therefor and the application thereof. Provided is an electrophoretic particle. The electrophoretic particle comprises a shell layer and a core layer, which is encapsulated within the shell layer, wherein the core layer comprises a plurality of kernel particles, and the density of the kernel particles is less than that of the shell layer. The electrophoretic particle comprises a shell layer and a core layer, which is encapsulated within the shell layer, wherein the core layer comprises a plurality of kernel particles, and the structure of the plurality of kernel particles enables the shell layer wrapped around the surface of the structure to form a pleated structure, thereby increasing the surface area of the core layer, and improving the bonding tightness of the shell layer and the core layer, such that the obtained shell layer of the electrophoretic particle has a relatively strong compactness; and on this basis, the overall particle size of the electrophoretic particle can be appropriately reduced, the motion rate of the electrophoretic particle in an electric field is increased, and it is ensured that the phenomenon of light leakage is prevented from occurring in the electrophoretic particle, thereby improving the excellent performance of a device.
