Abstract:
Provided are: an electrophotographic photosensitive body which has sufficient contamination resistance and satisfies various characteristics required for electrophotographic photosensitive bodies, while being less affected by the temperature and humidity in the surrounding environment; a method for producing this electrophotographic photosensitive body; and an electrophotographic apparatus.
This electrophotographic photosensitive body has at least a photosensitive layer on a conductive base. The outermost surface layer thereof contains a compound having a structure represented by general formula (I).
(In formula (I), each of R1 and R2 independently represents an alkyl group having 1-12 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group having 5-12 carbon atoms; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6-20 carbon atoms or a heterocyclic group; each of X and Z represents a single bond or an optionally substituted alkylene group having 1-6 carbon atoms; and Y represents an OCO group or a COO group.)
