Abstract:
This electrophotographic photosensitive body (1) is provided with an electrically conductive substrate (2) and a photosensitive layer (3). The photosensitive layer (3) is a single layer-type photosensitive layer (3c) including a charge generating agent and an electron transport agent. The electron transport agent includes a compound represented by general formula (1). When the photosensitive layer (3) and calcium carbonate are rubbed against each other, the amount of charge of the calcium carbonate is at least +7.0 µC/g. In general formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently represent a halogen atom or the like. m, n, and Y respectively have the same meaning as the m, n, and Y in the description.
