Abstract:
A photosensitive layer (3) of an electrophotographic photosensitive body (1) is a single layer-type photosensitive layer (3c) including a charge generating agent and an electron transport agent. The electron transport agent includes a compound represented by general formula (1). When the photosensitive layer (3) and calcium carbonate are rubbed against each other, the amount of charge of the calcium carbonate is at least +7.0 µC/g. In general formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently represent a halogen atom, a C1-8 alkyl group having at least one halogen atom, a C3-10 cycloalkyl group having at least one halogen atom, a C6-14 aryl group which has at least one halogen atom and which may have a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C7-20 aralkyl group having at least one halogen atom. p and q each independently represent an integer from 1 to 5.
