Abstract:
Provided is an electrophotography photoreceptor comprising an electrically conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer is a single layer. The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating agent, a positive hole transfer agent, an electron transfer agent and a binder resin. The electron transfer agent contains a compound represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, an aryl group which has 6-14 carbon atoms and which may have an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7-12 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group having 3-10 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
