Title:
ELECTROPLATED TOOL, SCREW-SHAPED GRINDSTONE FOR GRINDING GEAR, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTROPLATED TOOL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SCREW-SHAPED GRINDSTONE FOR GRINDING GEAR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/014197
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: an electroplated tool with which it is possible to perform high-efficiency grinding, the electroplated tool having exceptional chip discharge properties and processing accuracy; a screw-shaped grindstone for grinding a gear; a method for manufacturing the electroplated tool; and a method for manufacturing the crew-shaped grindstone for grinding a gear. Provided are an electroplated tool 7 and a method for manufacturing the same, said tool 7 having a parent material 1, a plating layer that has a high-level portion 91 and a low-level portion 92 formed as strips on the parent material 1 at different heights along the direction intersecting the processing direction, and electrodeposited abrasive grains 2 exposed from the surface of the plating layer. The difference in height of the plating layer is preferably 50-100% of the average particle diameter of the abrasive grains, the width of the high-level portion 91 of the plating layer is preferably 150-200% of the average particle diameter of the abrasive grains 2, and the width of the low-level portion 92 of the plating layer is preferably 100-800% of the average particle diameter of the abrasive grains.
