Abstract:

A liquid contained in liquid-containing means provided in a housing is fed to a transporting body, and electrically charged minute particles of the liquid are discharged by high-voltage applied between an electric-discharge end of the transporting body and the opposed electrode. At least a part of the liquid-containing means can be detached from the housing, which facilitates liquid refilling.
