Abstract:

An electrostatic atomizing device comprises an electrostatic atomizing part (2) which generates negatively charged water microparticles by applying high voltage to water supplied to an atomization electrode (1), a positive ion generating part (3) which generates positive ions, and a control part (16) which controls the operation of the electrostatic atomizing part (2) and the positive ion generating part (3). The control part (16) controls so that electrically charged water microparticles are generated at the electrostatic atomizing part (2) after positive ions are generated by the positive ion generating part (3).
