Abstract:
This electrostatic atomizing device is provided with electrodes (discharge electrode (1) and counter electrode (2)) for applying an electric field to a fluid (10); and a voltage-applying means (4) for applying a drive voltage to the electrodes (discharge electrode (1) and counter electrode (2)) in order to electrostatically atomize by applying an electric field to the fluid (10). The drive voltage oscillates at a prescribed frequency. The reference value, which is the reference for the oscillations of the drive voltage, is negative.
