Abstract:
This electrostatic capacitance detecting device is provided with: a first board; a detecting electrode which is provided on the top surface of the first board to detect the approach of an operating body with respect to an operating surface; a stray capacitance coupling conductor provided on the rear surface side of the first board; a first outer peripheral electrode provided in such a way as to enclose the detecting electrode on the top surface of the first board; and a plurality of side electrodes which are provided side-by-side in such a way as to enclose the detecting electrode, extend in the thickness direction of the first board, and are connected to each of the first outer peripheral electrode and the stray capacitance coupling conductor.
