The purpose of the present invention is to carry out notification of a therapeutic mode in a manner having excellent usability. Provided is an electrotherapeutic device comprising: electrode parts configured to be brought into contact with sites on a body; a voltage adjustment unit for adjusting the voltage applied to the electrode parts in order to apply electrical stimulation to the sites; and a control unit (203) for controlling the electrotherapeutic device. The control unit includes a notification processing unit for carrying out notification of a therapeutic mode. While a therapeutic mode is executed in which the voltage adjusting unit is controlled so that the voltage of the first voltage value that corresponds to the therapeutic mode is applied to the electrode part, the notification processing unit controls the voltage adjustment unit so that the voltage value applied to the electrode parts is switched from a first voltage value to a second voltage value, and thereafter from the second voltage value to the first voltage value.
