Abstract:
An electrowetting display array substrate, an electrowetting display device, and a manufacturing method thereof. The electrowetting display array substrate comprises a lower substrate (3), a lower electrode layer (4), a hydrophobic layer (5), a pixel wall (6), and a columnar structure (10). The columnar structure is located within a pixel grid and arranged adjacent to a corner of the pixel grid. The invention adds the columnar structure to the pixel grid and controls the position of an opening of an oil-film by means of a coordinated configuration between the columnar structure, an aperture electrode, and an insulation layer (15). By control of the electrical field intensities of different regions consistency of the turn-on state of a pixel and an oil-film movement is realized, improving the display effect of the display accordingly.
