Abstract:
A filter 10 having a port block 13 provided with an intake port 11 to which air to be treated is supplied and a discharge port 12 from which purified compressed air is discharged, wherein a filter container 14 for storing a filter element 31 is mounted to the port block 13. An upper holder 32 has an engaging projection 35 for functioning as a mounting part to which the upper end section of the filter element 31 is mounted, and a connecting passage 36 for connecting the discharge port 12 and the interior of the filter element 31 to one another. The upper holder 32 is further provided with a blocking space 48 that is open on the bottom end surface between the engaging projection 35 and the connecting passage 36.
