Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an element such as a solace cell, from which a terminal is able to be taken out without separating a backside electrode therefrom when the performance of the element is inspected or the terminal is taken out to the outside from the element. [Solution] The present invention relates to an element which comprises a substrate (3), transparent electrodes (5a, 5b) that are provided on the substrate (3), photoelectric conversion layers (7, 9, 11) and a backside electrode (13), wherein: the transparent electrodes (5a, 5b) include a first transparent electrode part (5a) and a second transparent electrode part (5b), said parts being spatially separated from each other; the photoelectric conversion layers (7, 9, 11) are formed on the first transparent electrode part (5a); and the backside electrode (13) comprises an electrode main body part (13a) that is present on the photoelectric conversion layer (11), an electrode extraction part (13b) that is in contact with the second transparent electrode part (5b), and a bridge (13c) that connects the electrode main body part (13a) and the electrode extraction part (13b) to each other.
