Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electrolytic treatment metal surface treatment agent that is capable of imparting not only can-making workability, film adhesiveness, paint adhesiveness, corrosion resistance, sulfide blackening resistance, etc. but also the property of color fastness on Sn-based plating materials and that is suitable for practical use in terms of depositability of a Zr-P film in a short time, stability of the metal surface treatment agent to Sn contamination, stability of the metal surface treatment agent over time, etc. [Solution] An electrolytic treatment metal surface treatment agent that contains a dissolved Zr component, a dissolved F component, a dissolved P component, and at least one kind of anion selected from a group consisting of nitrate ions, chloride ions and sulfate ions. The ratio (Pw/Zrw) of the mass (Pw) of the dissolved P component calculated as elemental P to the mass (Zrw) of the dissolved Zr component calculated as elemental Zr is in the range of 0.04 to 0.5. The concentration of a component calculated as hydrogen peroxide calculated by redox titration is in the range of 100 mg/L to 1500 mg/L.
