Abstract:
The end face section (13) of a rotor (10) comprises a frictional surface (13a) and an end face (13b) that are separated from each other in the axial direction. When electricity to the electromagnetic coil is turned on, an armature (20) adheres to the frictional surface (13a) of the rotor (10) by an electromagnetic attraction force. A stator (30) is disposed facing the end face (13b) of the end face section (13) in the axial direction. A temperature fuse (35) is held by a portion of a resin member (37), which is located in an open area of the stator (30), and melts when the temperature reaches a specified temperature or higher to block the supply of electric current to the electromagnetic coil. The resin member (37) comprises crevices (40, 41) provided at specified positions of the surface of the resin member (37) adjacent to the temperature fuse (35).
