Abstract:
The present invention relates to an elevating conveyor for the inclined conveying of piece goods (2) and/or piece goods groups (32) in a conveying direction from at least one feed conveyor (3) provided in a feed plane to at least one discharge conveyor (4) provided in a discharge plane which is different from the feed plane, comprising at least one conveying device (6) for receiving piece goods (2) and/or piece goods groups (32) from the feed conveyor (3), at least one guide track (14; 24) and at least one driver device (8), wherein the driver device (8) extends in the conveying direction into the region of the conveying device (6) and the guide track (14; 24) and has at least one driver element (7; 22), wherein the elevating conveyor (1; 20; 25; 31; 35; 41) has a synchronization device (9, 10, 18, 26, 29, 30) for synchronizing the position of the piece goods (2) and/or the piece goods groups (32) with the position of the driver element (7; 22). According to the invention, the driver device (8) has at least one driver device cable (11) on which the driver element or the driver elements (7; 22) are provided, in particular equidistantly from each other, and the driver element(s) (7; 22) can rotate about an axis (A) which is substantially perpendicular to the conveying direction and parallel to the feed plane and a positioning element (15; 19) is associated with at least one driver element (7; 22). The invention also relates to a method for the inclined conveying of piece goods (2) and/or piece goods groups (32).
