Abstract:
An elevator alarm system applicable in a city. When a high-rise building in a city has an elevator failure, an elevator alarm platform (101) in the city can send to a vehicle monitoring platform (102), by means of an Internet of Things, position information and a building name of the high-rise building having a failure and street names at a periphery of said high-rise building. When it is determined that there is a target vehicle (103) on a street associated with the street names, the vehicle monitoring platform (102) sends to the target vehicle (103), by means of the Internet of Things, elevator failure alarm information including the position information and building name of the high-rise building having a failure. Also disclosed is an elevator alarm method applicable in a city. The elevator failure alarm system enables an elevator failure in a high-rise building to be recognized in a timely manner, and prevents the incident from causing trapped passengers life-threatening danger.
