Abstract:
In this elevator apparatus, a car operation mode carried out by a control device includes a normal operation mode, in which the car is operated normally, and a managed operation mode, in which vibration of the car arising from lateral vibration of a rope is suppressed. The control device switches the operation mode to the managed operation mode on the basis of the position of the car and the magnitude of swaying of a building and/or the rope. In the managed operation mode, the control device also switches the speed of the car to a speed lower than a speed pattern of the normal operation mode at speed change positions midway through a travel procedure.
