Title:
ELEVATOR CAGE-IMPOSED WEIGHT DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/038480
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An elevator cage-imposed weight detector which is simple in arrangement and capable of satisfactory accurate detection of cage-imposed weight of an elevator. The cage weight acting on rope guys (2) is intensively supported by elastic bodies (12) through a single rope guy plate (11). For this reason, even if the number of rope guys (2) is increased, there is no need to increase the number of elastic bodies (12) or the number of detectors (8). Therefore, the mechanism for detecting cage weight can be simplified and easily installed, and the cost of the cage weight detecting mechanism can be reduced. Further, since a plurality of rope guys (2) are locked to the single rope guy plate (11), the possibility of the cage weight causing the rope guys (2) to incline is eliminated and it is possible to prevent occurrence of the drawback of the cage weight detection accuracy being lowered by the inclination of the rope guys (2).
