Abstract:
The present invention relates to an elevator cage, and to an elevator cage comprising: wall panel modules for forming the front, rear and side surfaces of the cage; ceiling panel modules for forming the ceiling of the cage; and platform panel modules for forming the floor surface of the cage, wherein the wall panel modules include: a front panel module for forming the front surface of the cage; a rear panel module for forming the rear surface of the cage; and side panel modules which form the left and right surfaces of the cage and of which both ends are coupled to the front panel module and the rear panel module, and the front panel module, the rear panel module and the side panel modules are respectively formed by coupling and fixing one or more unit panels to each other by means of press-fitting. According to the present invention, the plurality of unit panels forming the wall panel modules of the elevator cage are coupled and fixed to each other by means of press-fitting so that the unit panels can be simply coupled in the inner space of the cage without requiring bolt-coupling in the outer space of the cage, and thus operating time in a hoistway is minimized so that operator accidents can be minimized, and a cage providing processing time can be remarkably reduced.
