Abstract:

The disclosed elevator call registration device, capable of call registration by voice when the elevator door is open, prevents the closing of a door before a user registers a call by voice. The call registration device is provided with a microphone for voice input installed in the elevator car, a user detection device — installed in the elevator car — for detecting a user, and a call registration means for registering a call based on the voice signal input from the microphone, when the presence of a user is detected by the user detection device while the elevator door is open. When it is possible to register a call using the call registration means, door opening time is appropriately adjusted based on the elevator passenger load.
