Abstract:
An elevator car vertically moved in a hoistway has a car floor, a base provided
at an edge portion of the car floor, and a car wall panel supported on the base. A
ventilation hole interconnecting the inside and outside of the elevator car
is formed in the base. The shape etc. of the ventilation hole can be set as desired,
and this enables wind noise caused by airflow in the ventilation hole to be suppressed.
The construction can provide a sufficient amount of ventilation in the elevator
car and prevents an increase in noise in the elevator car.
