Abstract:
An elevator control system 100 that controls an opposite-cars balancing-type multicar elevator, wherein, when one car 132a from among two cars 132 forming a car loop 131A is to provide service for a landing, an operation mode switching determination unit 107 instructs a loop control device 121A, which controls operation of the car loop 131A, to switch the car loop 131A between a one-car operation mode in which the other car 132b in the car loop 131A does not provide service and a two-car operation mode in which both cars 132a, 132b in the car loop 131A provide service.
